2025 Texas Icons Speaker:

Sadie Schiermeyer our current Miss Texas

Sadie Schiermeyer is the 88th Miss Texas and a passionate
advocate for whole-person wellness. Through her statewide
initiative, Healthier Texas: How Are You, Really?, and in
partnership with Healthier Texas, Sadie works to make
preventive health education accessible to children and families.

Sadie brings years of experience as a mentor, student,
researcher, and advocate to her role as Miss Texas. As the
daughter of Miss Texas 1994 and the organization’s first legacy
titleholder, she now continues that legacy by using the crown
to spark important conversations and expand access to care.

Sadie is committed to helping Texans thrive from the inside out. As Miss Texas, she travels the state amplifying conversations around mental health, advocating for policy change, and empowering every Texan to live a healthier, more purpose-driven life.
