John Drake has loved working as a development officer for more than three decades.
Since 2000 and as president of the Baylor Scott & White Irving Foundation (which is located in the mid-cities located between Dallas and Fort Worth), he has led the foundation’s team in raising nearly $60 million dollars to help keep people in his community healthy.
John’s undergraduate degree is from Stephen F. Austin State University and his master’s degree is from Dallas Baptist University. In 2005, he earned his Certified Fund-Raising Executive (CFRE) designation and in 2019 he attained the Fellow of the Association of Healthcare Philanthropy designation. FAHP is the highest professional accreditation offered by that association and it is held by only 2 percent of its 5,000 members.

Heather Baker, MPA

Heather Baker has been in non-profit fundraising for the last 14 years. She has worked for various organizations in the DFW and arrived at the Baylor Scott & White Irving Foundation in 2022. Heather received her undergraduate degree from Texas A&M University and her master’s degree from The University of Texas San Antonio. At the Foundation, she focuses on the Texas Icons Luncheon, Grateful Giving and working with donors to help find their passion in giving.
Heather is also highly involved in the community through Junior League of Dallas and the American Cancer Society’s Cattle Baron’s Ball. She finds her greatest joy in her husband, Matt, and two boys, Jack & Teddy. Heather is passionate about supporting staff and their drive to keep those we serve living better.

Hannah Belle Stevens

Hannah Belle, a proud DFW girl and Texas A&M graduate, is thrilled to give back to her community. Hannah Belle graduated in May 2024, where she developed a deep passion for healthcare and improving access for underserved communities. WHOOP!
Since joining the Baylor Scott & White Irving Foundation, Hannah Belle has channeled her fundraising experience into making a meaningful impact on initiatives like Give To Change. She is committed to advancing the Foundation’s mission to improve healthcare access, quality, and outcomes for those who need it most.

Christi Booth, MS
Executive Assistant/Board Liaison

Christi Booth has worked in the Foundation office for over nine years. After receiving her undergrad out of state, she returned home to get her master’s at the University of Texas at Dallas. She enjoys working with the Board of Directors and doing her part to help fundraise to keep the community healthy.
