Our New Directors

Meet the community leaders who are helping guide our mission forward

On July 1, 2025, Baylor Scott & White Irving Foundation welcomed six new directors to its governing board. Please enjoy meeting these caring volunteers:


Komli currently serves as vice president of client success at Pieces Technologies, a healthcare AI company. He earned his undergraduate degree at Yale University and received his Doctor of Medicine at the University of Pittsburgh School of Medicine. He also did his Neurological Surgery Residency at the Yale-New Haven Hospital. Komli works in Irving and lives in Coppell with his wife, Ruth.

Komli-Kofi Atsina, M.D.


Linda is a retired nurse who used to work at Baylor Scott & White Medical Center –
Irving. She also has served as a chief financial officer for a company. She now volunteers at Baylor Scott & White – Irving in the administration office. Linda directs the nominations process for employees recognized for excellence—both in nursing and for non-clinical roles. She has her bachelor’s degree in nursing and a master’s in healthcare administration.

Linda Dunn


Brett is a nonprofit professional who is currently the vice president of operations and administration at the Greater Irving-Las Colinas Chamber of Commerce. She is a board member of Academic, Creative, Enrichment Program LLC. Brett received her bachelor of arts degree from Texas State University. She lives in Fort Worth with her wife, Jessica.

Candace works in Fort Worth as a controller/CPA for BNSF Railway. Her bachelor’s and master’s degrees both are in accounting from The University of Texas at Austin and she has an MBA from Kellogg School of Management at Northwestern University. She is married to her husband, Nick, and lives in Coppell.

Candace Palmarozzi


Tom received his bachelor’s and Master of Business Administration degrees from Texas A&M. He retired from IBM after a successful career and today is an active civic volunteer. He serves on the Irving School Bond Committee, Irving ISD District Improvement Committee, Irving Hispanic Chamber, AMBUCS Greater Irving, Hispanic Forum, SER National and HOGAR de Dallas Genealogy. Tom lives in Irving with his wife, Rebecca.

Tom Robles


Sid currently serves as a Senior Vice President for Comerica Bank. He attended Southern Methodist University for his undergraduate degree and received his Master of Business Administration from the University of Dallas. He serves on the board of directors for both the Greater Irving Las Colinas Chamber of Commerce and the Irving Schools Foundation. He lives in Flower Mound with his wife, Neha.

Sidharth Sureka


To serve on the BSW Irving Foundation board, members must live, work or volunteer in Irving, Coppell or Grand Prairie. Elected members may serve up to four consecutive two-year terms, or a total of eight years. Members also can be re-elected to continued service after a one-year break. Board service comprises meeting attendance requirements, making a personal contribution of a meaningful gift annually, and assisting the staff in raising at least $5,000 each year.
